Sunflare

Sunflare is our beautiful Phoenix Maine Coon and one of the most exciting additions to the Maine Coon Mayo breeding program. We are incredibly proud to be the premier breeder of the Phoenix colour in Western Canada, helping to responsibly introduce and establish this rare colour in Canadian Maine Coons.

"What is Phoenix?"
Phoenix is a newly identified and still extremely uncommon colour mutation found in genetically red cats. Phoenix kittens are born with a distinctive bluish-grey pigmentation alongside their red colouring, creating an appearance unlike traditional red Maine Coons. The genetics behind Phoenix are still being studied, making this an especially exciting colour from a breeding and genetic perspective.
